The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is an income-based program that provides funding for PreK programs for four-year-old children. The class meets Monday through Thursday, from 8:00-3:15.
The staff follows the HighScope Curriculum and observes students based on objectives set forth in the program in which individual goals are set for each student. This curriculum is nationally known for its forward-thinking, comprehensive, and rigorously researched model. Our GSRP program has been awarded 4 out of 5 stars by the Michigan Department of Education’s Great Start to Quality.
We have 3 classrooms of students. Our teachers are Amy Patterson, Ariana Fuller, Tameka Ballard, Landy Harris, and Latosha Verge. The number one goal of any PreK program is to ensure children become enthusiastic learners. Through GSRP and the HighScope Curriculum, your child can be just that!
