Our board president, Jarod McGuffey, was recently interviewed for the Board Member Spotlight in Oakland University’s newsletter, Office of Public School Academies.
When asked what the highlights of his time on Dove Academy’s school board have been McGuffey answered,
I can summarize this into three bullets: building relationships with various stakeholders, learning and developing as a leader myself, and most rewardingly…I get a year by year snapshot of how these amazing students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
